I’ve been a writer longer than I have been a musician and audio engineer. I was full of ideas, and while I could not make movies or computer games as a kid, writing was one way to bring out my imagination.
One of my earliest memories is writing a sci-fi novel when I was about 9 or 10 years old. I typed it out on a green monochrome computer monitor in the word-processor “Lotus 123”. I remember reading a computer print out of it like it was the best thing since Jurassic Park.
That was until I picked up the guitar, of course. While music was an escape in high school, I did not really grow in my writing skills. Later, in my university years as a student, we were forced to improve our writing and then during my professional career as a consultant communication and writing skills were the air you breathed. Publishing a book and then updating it several times cemented my writing journey, in amongst be a columnist for various magazines.
